Road Safety Audit and Inspections
We conduct road safety inspections, audits and black spot analyses to identify hazards and recommend improvements that reduce accident risk on Romanian roads. Our road safety specialists work in accordance with national and European road safety audit standards.
Road Safety Audit
- Road safety audit at all design stages: feasibility, preliminary design, detailed design, pre-opening and in-operation

Legal Framework and Compliance
Road safety audit and inspection services are carried out in accordance with Law no. 265/2008 on road infrastructure safety management, republished, and the related methodological norms. All services are provided by certified road safety audit specialists.
Audit Stages per Law 265/2008
The audit is conducted at all project development stages, as required by articles 6–8 of Law no. 265/2008:
- Feasibility study stage — analysis of proposed solutions from a road safety perspective, identification of potential risks at the concept phase
- Technical design stage — detailed verification of geometric elements, signage and designed road features
- Before opening to traffic — final evaluation of the constructed road, verification of compliance with recommendations from previous stages
Safety Inspections on Roads in Operation
We also perform road safety inspections on roads in operation (per article 9 of Law no. 265/2008), through periodic evaluation of infrastructure condition, signage and traffic conditions. Inspections identify deficiencies that have developed over time and propose remedial measures prioritized by severity and risk.
