Traffic Plan follows the same rigorous methodology for every project, regardless of size or complexity. Each stage has clear objectives, defined deliverables and quality checkpoints.
This structured approach guarantees that no technical decision is made without sufficient data, no solution is proposed without being tested through simulation, and every client knows exactly which stage their project is at.
Analysis and Problem Understanding
Each project begins with an in-depth analysis of the existing situation and the client's objectives. We familiarize ourselves with the local context, identify technical constraints and jointly define the scope, deliverables and project timeline.

Field Data Collection
Real traffic data is the foundation of any quality study. We use our automated equipment for precise data collection directly from the field, supplemented by surveys and manual observations.
- Establishing measurement points and periods
- Equipment installation: RTMS Echo, Viacount, DeepBlue, MioVision
- Manual counts for intersection movements
- Mobility surveys and O/D surveys if needed
Data Processing and Validation
Raw data collected from the field is processed, validated and transformed into relevant indicators for analysis. This stage ensures that models and solutions are grounded in correct and representative data.
- Cleaning and validating datasets
- Calculation of indicators: flows, speeds, occupancy rates
- Building and calibrating traffic models

Modeling and scenario analysis
Based on validated data, we build traffic models with specialized software. The models allow analysis of the existing situation, forecasting of future demand and testing of alternative scenarios before any investment.
- Microscopic models (AIMSUN, VISSIM) for intersections and corridors
- Macroscopic models for extended networks
- Short, medium and long-term forecast scenarios
- Simulation of proposed interventions and quantification of benefits
Development of Solutions and Documentation
Based on the analyses, we develop the optimal technical solutions and associated documentation. Solutions are technically justified, constructively and legally feasible, adapted to the client's budget and priorities.
- Development and comparison of solution alternatives
- Design at requested phases: Feasibility Study, DALI, PT, DTAC
- Documentation for approvals — Police, CNAIR, municipality
- Technical reports, drawings, justification memoranda
Delivery, Support and Monitoring
The project does not end with the delivery of the documentation. Traffic Plan provides technical assistance during implementation and monitoring of results after commissioning, to validate that objectives are achieved.
